About Chess

Play free chess against the computer on four difficulty levels, from a friendly Easy mode for beginners to a strong Expert engine. All the official rules are included: castling, en passant, promotion, check, checkmate and draws. Use hints to learn, take back mistakes on easier levels, and pick up a saved game any time.

Tips

Control the centre and develop knights and bishops early.
Castle early to keep your king safe.
Before every move, check what your opponent is threatening.
